Grace Heyborne lives in Salt Lake City where she attends the University of Utah studying Evolutionary Anthropology and Integrated Human Biology. She is especially interested in evolution and is fascinated by how adaptation can be observed both culturally and biologically. This interdisciplinary approach has allowed her to participate in anthropological and genomic research on the traditional practice of breath-hold free diving in Tonga, as well as on the use of the modeling tool PSMC to analyze historical reproductive skew in primates. Outside of her studies, Grace spends her time painting, climbing, and enjoying quiet days reading on the couch with her cat.
